I lived in Laruel at the time this happened( since moved away). I heard about it but it wasn’t told like what I have seen and read on this site. Murders never get solved in that county. The only reason they got David Ison was because the news stations got ahold of the story and they had to do something. I know of a few killings that have happened there and the cops do NOTHING.
There are so many red flags here..It is crazy LE has done not one thing to give this child the peace he so needs..I will light A a candle for you Jason… And to they family my thoughts and prayers with always..I may not be able to do much to help get Justice for Jason but i sure can write letters, send emails and make phone calls..All you need to do is ask..I will help!!

I had never heard of this case at all. I do know Kathryn Casey, the author, and I would suggest you ask for her help. She is very good. I will help any way I can. This is premeditated murder. If you know who these persons are, they need to be put under a special investigation by the Indiana Attorney General. IF he won’t do his job right, then call the Governor. I am so sad ro read this and I think it makes me more sad that kids could lie about a life and then turn around and go on with theirs. My sister was killed in las Vegas, and the other 4 went for a walk to find help ( so they say) as my sis lay alone dying. I have just read this information about you Jason… It breaks my heart your horrid crime has gone unsolved for 21 years! As a mother, I have two children, one of whom is a teenage son, my heart mourns for you, your family and everyone who knew you and loved you. You look like such a beautiful soul. I certainly hope, after reading your story, with the exposure it is getting on the group from facebook which has shared it, with its extra circulation, it will help add pressure to get your cold case reopened and those people who witnessed your brutal murder will fess up and come forward, to offer some sort of closure to your family.

There have been other murders in Franklin and Fayette Counties that are unresolved.I too would like to see the guilty punished . Mark Ariens death is still unsolved.Keep the faith that Jehovah God will reveal the guilty , and you all can have closure.

I’m utterly appalled and sadden to read what happen to Jason. May you now Rest in Peace and that justice be served to these monsters!!

praying for justice this is just heart breaking
I just found your website and my heart is breaking for all of you. Jason was such an adorable kid and certainly did not deserve to die in such a horrible manner. Those who have information about his murder will never live a day in peace until they do the right thing and come forward.

I don’t understand how they can live knowing they took a young life from his family. What a burden they must have today now that they probably have their own families. I’m sure they have lost alot of sleep. My hopes would be that they serve the rest of their lives behind bars. RIP Jason

RIP JASON, I hope they find the person or people that did this to you & they serve time for what they did.
This was a heart wrenching story, he was a very handsome boy. I hope one day the truth will come about for you and there will be justice for Jason. There have been other murders in Franklin and Fayette Counties that are unresolved.I too would like to see the guilty punished . Mark Ariens death is still unsolved.Keep the faith that Jehovah God will reveal the guilty , and you all can have closure.
I will be praying for Justice in the case. Our Hearts ache for him and His loved ones. So So Sad.
It is my hope that those responsible for Jason’s death will be fully investigated and held responsible for what they did. This family, like ours, needs answers and the ability to know they have found justice for Jason.
